It did the job, but if you’re in the business of perfect-looking documents, this may not be the right option for you. When I created a W-9 form on the app, it was entirely readable, but my name bled into the top line of the form, and the signature didn’t look exactly like my real signature had on the actual paper. So basically, it’s as good at math as my 2-year-old son.Īs for creating and signing documents - it makes it possible to do so without using a printer but final documents don’t always look pristine. And some of the functions the app claims to have - the ability to do math - didn’t work well for me: When I tried to take a photograph of the equation 2+2, it told me the expression was not recognized. You don’t need to set the parameters of the capture because the artificial intelligence of the scanner immediately senses them and clicks without you having to press the shutter button. Unlike other scanner apps I’ve used, it captures a document even if it’s placed in an area with low light or a dark background. No husbands or printers necessary.
